We had a fun and relaxing Independence Day. Matt was off work on Friday (it is so nice when he gets a three-day-weekend!) so we made our way down to the Bay House Friday morning.
We did a lot of swimming that day and I did a lot of cooking. We had loads of fun and loads of yummy food!
I have been looking forward to Ben's first 4th of July since before he was born. It is one of my favorite holidays. He & Ava just love the water, so of course they were in heaven. We all enjoyed the fireworks show on Sat. night. It is pretty awesome because we can sit out in the backyard & have great seats to see the Kemah Boardwalk fireworks display. I can't believe the 4th has passed already, time flies when you're having fun!
